Shenandoah Potters Guild
The Shenandoah Potters Guild, is a group of potters from Virginia, West Virginia & Maryland.
Guild events are based mainly in the Shenandoah Valley region of Virginia.
Our potters participate in local shows, charity events and workshops.
We collectively throw, decorate, glaze and fire 100+ historic replica pots each Spring, to sell at a local festival. The proceeds help fund our educational workshops and more!
We have annual dues, and pay a small commission on group sales to help differ the costs of booth fees, rentals, marketing etc.
If you’re interested in joining, we hold bi-annual meetings each February and October in Winchester VA and are open to both amateur and professional potters! See below for contact info.
What We Do

Passing along knowledge to others
Our goal is to promote great opportunities for learning!
Workshops give local clay artists a chance to gain knowledge from each other, and pass along techniques to fellow potters.

Our Commitment to the Community
The Shenandoah Potters Guild has a long history of helping our community through giving locally!
Each year we provide bowls for the EMPTY BOWL SUPPER.
Local potters donate finished pottery bowls, restaurants provide soups/breads, and the community purchases tickets to the soup supper to help support the Laurel Center in Winchester, VA.
For more info in YOUR AREA, do a search for “EMPTY BOWL SUPPER” and your city/town name. It’s a great way to support your community!
